Shirley I. Wiedbrauk, 79, of Suttons Bay, formerly of Curran, passed away at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City on Monday, April 22, 2019.

Shirley was born in Curran on April 14, 1940, to Cecil and Vera (Harmon) Trader. She married Milton “Peet” Wiedbrauk on Nov. 29, 1958, in Harrisville. She raised her family in Flint, working for Hamady High School in Flint. Shirley settled back in Curran in June 1985, where she worked at Shirley’s Café. She was a member of VFW 3890 of Alpena. She attended the Curran and Mio United Methodist churches. She was also involved with the Curran Citizens Watch.

Shirley is survived by her children, Jack (Jamie) Wiedbrauk of Curran, Linda (Wayne) Agosa of Suttons Bay and Kathy (Steven) Hawley of Mancelona; her grandchildren, Marcus, Dakota and Claudia Agosa, and James and Michael Bush; and her brother-in-law, Donald Diller of Crystal Falls.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Milton “Peet” Wiebrauk; her brother, Harvey Trader; and her sister, Patricia Diller.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 27, 2019, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, with funeral services at 1 p.m. with Pastor Brenda Klacking officiating. Interment will follow the services at Curran Cemetery, Curran.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements by Lashley Funeral Home, Mio.
