New Skyline board hosts open house

COMINS — Roughly 100 people showed up for the Skyline Event Center’s first open house since restructuring its managing board. Board member Dan Swartzendruber said the group was extremely pleased with how the event went and is looking forward to what the future holds for the event center. Performing at the event was the Northern Michigan band Escaping Pavement. Residents enjoyed the free show while munching hor d’oeuvres and mingling with each other. Swartzendruber said future events at Skyline could have a fee associated with them.
