Mark S. Schoenberg, 68, of Lewiston passed away at his home Friday, April 13, 2017.

Mark was born in Detroit on Dec. 8, 1948, to Roy and Gladys (Miller) Schoenberg. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Upon returning home, he worked for Tester, Inc. in Livonia as a machinist. He retired and moved to Lewiston in 2008 from Livonia. He owned Northern Services out of Lewiston. Mark was a member of the National Rifle Association and also St. John Lutheran Church of Mio. He was an avid outdoorsman.

Mark is survived by his father, Roy Schoenberg; his children, Chris (Thu) Schoenberg of Zeeland and Shawna (Brent) Hall of Belleville; his siblings, Gary, Glen and Paul Schoenberg and Beth McClenaghan; and his grandchildren, Josh, Isabelle, Lily and Aiden.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to St. John Lutheran Church of Mio.
