Lisle Bugg, 85, of Curran passed away Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, surrounded by his family.

Lisle was born Jan. 26, 1933, in Curran to the late Harry Sr. and Carrie (Conrad) Bugg. He was a lifelong resident of Curran, where he was a logger for many years. On June 23, 1956, he married the love of his life, Betty Miller. Lisle was known for his sense of humor and loved to tease. You became an instant friend of his if you dared to tease him back. He enjoyed hunting, caring for his draft horses, gardening and riding his golf cart and tractor. He could often be found wearing his bibs on his riding lawn mower, keeping his lawn meticulously clean.

Lisle is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Betty; his four children, Cindy Zenker, Rick (Eve) Bugg, Barbara Kay (Mick) Green and Dean (Doreen) Bugg; four siblings, Jeanie Mendyka of Lincoln, Louise Indish of Gaines, Everette Bugg of Curran and Rose Mahalak of Lincoln; 11 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by six siblings, Sonny, Phyliss Baldwin, Margie Phinney, George, Edward and Mary Ann Mahalak.

Per his wishes, Lisle has been taken for cremation. There will be a memorial dinner Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018, from 1-4 p.m. at the Mitchell Township Hall, 6849 W. Tower Rd., Curran, MI 48728.
