Kenneth C. Romska, 69, of Fairview passed away at his home Monday, Aug. 20, 2018.

Kenneth was born in Detroit on Dec. 23, 1948, to Gerard and Rita (Westveld) Romska. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Kenneth married Christine Trowbridge in Capac on Jan. 30, 1982. They moved to Fairview 30 years ago from Attica. He had worked for Vlasic Food Services as a quality control supervisor, and later on at Kneeland Industries. Kenneth was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also loved camping, car rides, traveling and watching sports.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Christine of Fairview; his children, James Romska of Mount Pleasant, Ruth (Arthur) Meier of Lapeer, Quinn (Brittney) Romska of Fairview and Lacy Romska, also of Fairview; his siblings, Timothy (Jannie) Romska of Lapeer, Faith (Ray) Southwell of Alaska, Terry Romska of Gladwin and Nadine (Chris) Barnes of Harrison; 10 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 24, 2018, from 4-9 p.m. at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, and again Saturday, Aug. 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with funeral services at 1 p.m. with Pastor Kevin Salsbury officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Hospice of Helping Hands of West Branch.
