Installation finished for new Comstock Park playground

BIG CREEK TWP. — Comstock Park’s new playground is completed, earlier than the township expected it would be.

Supervisor Randy Booth said the township was originally under the impression that it would take until later this year to install the equipment; however, the installation company had an opening in its schedule and began work early.

The equipment cost the township roughly $150,000 altogether. It is expected to last at least 25 years with regular maintenance.
