Fairview man injured in rollover accident


CLINTON TWP. — Oscoda County sheriff’s deputies responded to a rollover accident around 11:45 a.m. Aug. 1 that left a 22-year-old Fairview man injured.

Sheriff Kevin Grace said the man was traveling southbound on M-33 near Bailey Road when police believe the 2000 Dodge Dakota he was driving veered off the right shoulder of the road, before the driver overcorrected resulting in the car rolling over in the ditch on the left side of the road.

The man was transported by Oscoda County EMS to Munson Healthcare Grayling Hospital. The condition of the man is unknown at this time, Grace said.

The cause of the accident is currently under investigation. However, Grace said alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
